The Warmadillo

The Warmadillo is another original phib character. Slightly inspired by different MOBA characters I had this idea of sculpting him, with the little "pun" from armadillo to warmadillo in my mind.

He is loosely based on the 3 banded armadillo, however, keeping my artistic freedom, I mixed characteristics of the 9 banded aswell as some "man-made" elements in to fit my ideas.
On his back he is carrying a huge macuahuitl like weapon to emphasize his mission of fighting for or alongside his aztec comrades, although his large claws would be sharp enough to seriously damage enemies.
To protect his belly-side, as it is soft flesh and his weakspot, he is wearing some manmade metal armorpieces and a bone-chestpiece.

sculpted in cosclay and supersculpey. The obsidian shards on his macuahuitl are resin casts. For now he might be my biggest sculpture yet. Measuring 34cm in height and a massive 2.5kg in weight. #CHONK
